This battery hydrometer has been manufactured to provide accurate test readings. The float is the critical part of this instrument. Take care of it in handling and use.Please note that the battery cell to be tested must have enough solution to allow the float to rise freely: if water has recently been added to the cell, the reading will not be accurate.
