Some OE manufacturers produced vehicles with trapezoidal wiper claws on longer lengths, although this practice was rare, as the standard 8mm wide square refill was more popular for longer wiper blades. Today, due to its rarity, a trapezoidal refill or blade is commonly misdiagnosed as a 700mm long x 6mm (Narrow) refill because of the narrow top of the refill. However, this is incorrect as a 6mm refill cannot withstand rotational forces at 700mm lengths.

The correct application is almost always a trapezoidal refill. The Trico 7.5mm x 710mm Trapezoidal refill will perfectly fit and cover all demands for "6mm" or "Narrow" 700mm refills.
