Penrite Limslip Additive Oil is a specialized supplement additive meticulously crafted to address issues commonly encountered in limited slip differentials, such as squeal, squawk, or chatter. This additive is formulated to enhance the frictional properties of hypoid gear oils, enabling them to effectively function in limited slip differentials.

Application:

• Limslip Additive is specifically designed to be used alongside hypoid gear oils, modifying their frictional characteristics to make them suitable for limited slip differentials. It serves as a supplement to formulated limited slip differential gear oils, particularly addressing the problem of additive adsorption into friction materials, especially in plate type differentials. Additionally, it effectively alters the oil's friction properties to ensure proper operation of cone type differentials.
• This additive is recommended for use in various differentials, including BTR/Dana differentials fitted to V8 Holden and Ford cars, Holden/Isuzu light commercials, and Jeep vehicles. However, if Penrite's synthetic Pro Gear oils are being used, no further addition of Limslip Additive is required, as they are pre-dosed with the correct amount, and additional addition may lead to seal degradation.

Treatment Rate: A dosage of 150 ml is sufficient to treat an axle with up to 2L capacity.
