En-Shield technology has been introduced to the Street Series range to provide corrosions resistant rotors, keeping the rotors looking good throughout service life.
The En-Shield process begins with a zinc/aluminium water based coating being applied to the entire rotor surface and is then
baked on.
En-Shield rotors are denoted by the suffix (E) in Street Series part numbers.

- Surface Design Slots and/or chamfered drill holes facilitate the exit of friction dust and gasses, for a quieter and more responsive pedal feel.*
- Anti Rust Painted non-friction areas to prevent rust and enhance appearance, or full En-shield coating to protect the rotor and alleviate the need for pre-installation cleaning.*
- BI-Directional Use Symmetrical slotting and/or drilling for universal left/right use.*
- Thermal Efficiency Centre-split core castings for increased heat transfer and thermal efficiency.
- CBN CBN (Cubic Boron Nitride) machine turned finish, minimising disc thickness variation and the potential for pad “knock” and resulting premature wear.
- Kangaroo Paw Unique Kangaroo Paw vane design for up to 20% better heat dissipation, increasing braking effectiveness and prolonging brake life.*
