Car Builders Header Wrap is designed to retain internal heat within the header pipes, minimizing the amount of heat radiating outward. This helps protect critical engine bay components and reduces heat transfer into the vehicle's interior. By keeping exhaust heat in the pipes, it also maintains gas velocity, which improves exhaust pressure and flow.

The Car Builders Premium Titanium Exhaust Header Wrap is made from pulverized volcanic rock that’s extruded into fibers and tightly woven. It’s dyed black for a distinctive look and outperforms standard fiberglass wraps. This premium wrap is stronger, more flexible, and provides the highest level of protection in its class. It can endure continuous temperatures of up to 1200°C, making it ideal for turbocharged engines.

Unlike fiberglass wraps, this wrap doesn’t need to be wetted during installation. Each roll includes 6 stainless steel cable ties for easy fitting. After installation, it's normal for the wrap to emit smoke on the first start-up as it settles and burns off any impurities.

Note:

• Black Titanium Wrap is especially recommended for turbo applications due to the intense heat levels.

Pipe Diameter and Suggested Wrap Width:

• 19mm – 45mm (3/4″ – 1 3/4″): Use 25mm (1″) wide wrap.
• 45mm – 100mm (1 3/4″ – 4″): Use 50mm (2″) wide wrap.

For a typical 4-into-1 header from the manifold to the collector:

• 1 x 25mm wide roll for the primary pipes.
• 1 x 50mm wide roll for the secondary pipes to the collector.
