The Aerpro CHSU12C Steering Wheel Control Interface (SWC) enables you to upgrade to an aftermarket head unit while preserving the functionality of your factory steering wheel controls.

Specifically designed for various Subaru vehicles, this interface comes with a harness featuring a vehicle-specific plug that connects directly to the existing wiring, eliminating the need to cut the factory harness.

Installation is further simplified when combined with the optional Aerpro APP9 Head unit Secondary ISO Harness & SWC Patch Lead, which links the aftermarket head unit to the Aerpro SWC interface. Additionally, the interface retains the OEM reverse camera and AUX functionality (if equipped) when used with compatible aftermarket head units.

Note:

• Aftermarket head unit must be SWC compatible.
• SWC patch lead is also required to enable SWC (sold separately).
• Retains OEM AUX Input (if equipped), when connected to compatible aftermarket head units with rear AUX input.
• Retains the OEM Reverse Camera (if fitted to the vehicle) and enables it to display on compatible aftermarket AV head units (with an RCA camera input).
• The following vehicles settings must be confirmed before removing the head unit as the driver will not be able to access them with an aftermarket unit fitted: Rear Camera Time out, Autolight Sensor, Welcome Lighting, Clock, Interior Light, Defogger, Keyless Entry and One Touch Lane change.
