The Aerpro CHAR3C Steering Wheel Control Interface is designed for various Alfa Romeo models, allowing you to upgrade to an aftermarket head unit while retaining the functionality of your factory steering wheel controls. This interface features a harness with a vehicle-specific plug that connects directly to the existing wiring, ensuring easy installation without cutting the factory harness.

For further simplification, it can be paired with the optional Aerpro APP9 Head Unit Secondary ISO Harness & SWC Patch Lead, ensuring a seamless connection between the aftermarket head unit and the steering wheel control interface.

Important Note: This interface is analog and is not compatible with Alfa Romeo vehicles equipped with CANBUS systems.

Note:

• Aftermarket head unit must be SWC compatible
• SWC patch lead is also required to enable SWC (sold separately)
• If the buttons are functioning incorrectly (i.e. volume button seeks instead of changing volume), the two signal wires (green and blue with bullet connectors) need to be swapped over.
• For Non Factory amplified units
• Steering Wheel Control Interfaces vary between models, to find the correct part for your vehicle use the Aerpro Vehicle Selector.
• A Steering Wheel Control Patch Lead is required to be used in conjunction with this part to enable Steering Wheel Controls to function (sold separately).
• Aftermarket head unit must be SWC compatible and Steering Wheel Control Functions may vary from the OEM Functions.
