Application:

HD Oil is primarily recommended for use in classic motorcycles where SAE 50 and SAE 60 monograde oils were specified. It is also equally suitable for use in transmissions with wet clutch systems where engine and gearbox oils are combined, offering excellent clutch slip prevention in these systems.

This oil is particularly well-suited for use in pre-Evolution (1984) Harley Davidson motorcycles, including specific models such as 1000cc/1200cc Panheads (1948–1965), 1200cc/1340cc Shovelheads (1966–1985), 1200cc Electraglides (1978–1985), and 1000cc Sportsters & Roadsters (1978–1985). Additionally, it is ideal for all side valve models up to (1903–1969).

HD Oil is also suitable for other large V-Twin bikes such as Ducati, Hummel, Indian, NSU, PUCH, Henderson, and early Buell. Moreover, it serves as an excellent oil for classic British motorcycles like Norton, AJS, and BSA, including single-cylinder 350cc to 500cc low-revving engines and 500cc to 650cc Parallel twins.
