The Aerpro CBHD6W 6dBi 477MHz Super Heavy Duty White Radome UHF Antenna is compatible with all brands of 477MHz UHF CB radios in Australia and New Zealand. With a 6dBi gain, this medium-gain antenna delivers excellent all-around performance.

The elliptical radiation pattern is more rounded compared to high-gain antennas and radiates further than low-gain antennas. This makes it ideal for medium-range communication in various environments such as suburban landscapes, towns, and low-density woodlands.

The 1075mm long antenna is encased in a high-quality fiberglass tube and secured to a super heavy-duty stainless steel spring. Due to its robust design and weight, the CBHD6W is best installed on the bullbar of a vehicle, making it suitable for trucks and 4WDs. The antenna is ground-independent, ensuring a stable radiation pattern.

The elevated feed design helps raise the radiation pattern above the vehicle roof and other obstructions, ensuring high performance when mounted on a bullbar. It comes fitted with a 4.5-meter RG58 coaxial cable, pre-terminated with an FME connector for easy installation through the firewall grommet in vehicles. An FME to UHF PL259 screw-on adaptor is also included, along with a mounting spanner for hassle-free installation.
