Selleys RP7 Multipurpose Lubricant can be used in various applications. It penetrates and lubricates rusted metal parts, nuts and bolts, hinges, and mechanical parts. It repels moisture from distributors, spark plugs, relays, and wet engines.

Additionally, it eliminates noisy squeaks from door hinges, moving parts, wheels, toys, chairs, and bicycle chains. It also penetrates to allow movement in locks, tools, zippers, and gears. Furthermore, it protects against corrosion on instruments, tools, bikes, rods and reels, metals, and garden tools. Lastly, it cleans most surfaces by removing grime, adhesives, tar and gum, and fingerprints.

How to Use:

For general use:

1. Spray affected areas with RP7 and allow 5 minutes for product to penetrate. 

To start wet motors (cars, boats, movers, etc.):

1. Remove distributor cap, wipe with a dry rag if soiled and then spray with RP7.
2. Replace cap and spray around distributor cap, spark plugs, coil, generator, starter motor, leads etc. RP7 draws out moisture which causes ignition short circuits - helps maintain correct electrical performance

To Penetrate & Loosen:

1. Spray RP7 on seized or stiff joints, nuts, bolts etc.
2. Allow 5 minutes to penetrate and if necessary tap lightly. Repeat application if needed in severe cases. Use RP7 as a general purpose lubricant - eliminate squeaks and keep mechanisms functioning smoothly.

To protect against rust and corrosion:

1. Simply spray RP7 periodically over nuts, hinges, linkages, garden tools or other metal parts.
2. RP7 penetrates into confined spaces to displace moisture and protect against rust. RP7 will not harm rubber or paintwork. The duration of protection obtained using RP7 will vary depending on the type of material being protected and the conditions of exposure.
