Directions as Complete Fill:

  1. Refer to the owner’s manual for cooling system capacity.
  2. Ensure the engine is switched off and the heater is on.
  3. Drain the old coolant (when cool) by removing the drain plug or bottom radiator hose.
  4. Flush the cooling system with clean water to remove all traces of old coolant.
  5. Add Green General Purpose Coolant Premix.
  6. Secure the radiator cap, start the engine, and bleed air from the system if necessary.
  7. Check the coolant level when the system is cool.

As a Top-Up to Existing Coolant:

  1. Add as a top-up to existing red coolant.
  2. Start the engine and turn the heater on.
  3. When the engine is warm, turn it off and allow it to cool.
  4. Check the coolant level and top it up if necessary.

Note:

  • The life of Green General Purpose Coolant Premix when used as a top-up defaults to that of the original coolant in the cooling system. If you are unaware of the type or life of the coolant in the system, we recommend a complete coolant change within the next 5000 km or 6 months. For an OEM Replacement Coolant, please use Nulon Long Life Coolant Part No. LL (green), RLL (red), or BLL (blue).
