Installation Instructions:

Follow the instructions carefully, as once the antenna is installed, it cannot be removed without damage.

1. This antenna is designed to be installed on the inside of the windscreen.
2. Position the socket (on the antenna) adjacent to the windscreen edge (do not remove the paper backing yet).
3. If mounted on the rear windscreen, it must be installed vertically to avoid interference from horizontal demister wires.
4. Determine the best position for the antenna and route the cable through the windscreen trim before applying the antenna.
5. Ensure the cable is routed from the selected windscreen position to the radio.
6. If mounted on the side window, maintain a 150mm minimum clearance from the edge (as shown in the diagram).
7. Clean the windscreen with the supplied alcohol wipe before installation.
8. Remove the paper backing and apply the antenna to the windscreen, ensuring there are no air bubbles.
9. Connect the antenna to the cable connector, which can swivel to align with the cable run.
10. Removing the antenna after mounting may result in damage to the antenna.

Note:

• Once mounted on glass, this antenna is rugged and durable
• Extra care is to be taken when handling this antenna before and during installation
• Do not flex excessively during removal of backing paper and white tab
• Take care in planning the position of your antenna, once mounted the antenna cannot be removed without damage
• This antenna is not compatible on windscreens with any aftermarket tinting with metallic film
• PLEASE NOTE that this antenna will not function correctly unless it is mounted onto a glass surface
