Car Builders Peel and Stick Heat Shield should be used heat facing, ie with the aluminium towards the source of the heat, it has been tested facing an exhaust and was able to reduce the temperature penetrating into the cabin of the car by over 100ºC Car Builders Peel and Stick Heat Shield comes in both a heavy and a light faced aluminium, meaning that there’s a Heat Shield for every application.

Our Heavy faced Peel and Stick Heat Shield is recommended for use on flatter surfaces or for road facing applications where there is a risk of stones/debris coming up from the road. For more complex shapes we recommend using our easy to form Light faced Peel and Stick Heat Shield.
