The Goss Throttle Position Sensor is designed to monitor the position of the throttle and angle of rotation on the throttle valve, and reports the information to the Engine Control Module (ECM) to control how much fuel flow is needed. This product uses a special alloy of copper and silver to improve resistance to erosion in order that it can request a wide range of operating temperature.
Throttle Position Sensors monitor the throttle position and angle of rotation on the throttle valve and relay the data to the Engine ECM.
The TPS has a significant impact on the vehicle's fuel ratio and timing.
