Garden 4T 30W is mainly for garden machinery with petrol engines where manufacturers recommend API SH/SJ or earlier specifications, including Briggs & Stratton, Rover, Pop & Simpson, B.S.A., Clinton, Kohler & Victa. It is also suitable for diesel units requiring API CD or CF lubricants.

Castrol Garden 4T 30W should NOT be used in 2-Stroke engines under any circumstances. Castrol Garden 4T 30W is NOT recommended where engine manufacturers recommend multigrade oils.

It is not recommended where engine manufacturers recommend multigrade oils of API SG or higher rated oils.

It is preferable NOT to mix or add Castrol Garden 4T 30W with any other crankcase oil otherwise its performance will not be maximised.

Always ensure the correct crankcase oil (as specified by the engine manufacturer) is used by referring to the equipment owners handbook or the Castrol Lubrication Guide.
