When should I change my brake pads?

Bosch advises replacing brake pads at least every 40,000 km.

Care instructions:

Always replace your pads in pairs (left and right side).Imperatively replace your pads with each change of discs.Before assembly, lubricate the ears of the brake pads with Bosch's Superfit brake grease.Do not lubricate the brake pads except at the ear of the pads.Do not use lubricant containing copper.When replacing pads, replace systematically accessory parts (springs, clips...).
